Applying for the EOC Insignia
The first step is for your management to review the Six Principles of CHOICE and agree that they reflect your own values and aspirations. Assuming you are still with us, you then book a visit to your offices from an EOC Consultant to discuss whether this Service is appropriate for your organisation, and if so how things will proceed. There is a charge of £450 plus vat and travelling expenses made for this.
Qualification to use the EOC Insignia requires the employer to commission the MY PERSPECTIVES online survey for all employees. A minimum of 70% of employees are required to complete the survey, and an overall score of 70% or higher must be achieved. The survey is conducted anonymously by The Training Foundation. The cost is £6 per employee, plus vat (minimum charge £600). There are no additional application or renewal fees. You will receive a comprehensive report of the Survey results, by team or department, and for the organisation collectively. This report will be particularly helpful in identifying areas of potential concern.
The survey fee includes the use of the EOC Insignia for an initial two years provided that the qualifying threshhold is reached. You will then be authorised to display the EOC Insignia on your website, literature and letterhead etc. sending a clear signal to all your stakeholders that you are an 'Employer of CHOICE'. Match this with everyday management practice and you will see the benefit in enhanced employee engagement levels: various services are available to support this objective.
Biennial renewal The MY PERSPECTIVES survey must be sucessfully repeated at least every two years as a condition of ongoing use of the EOC Insignia.
